How to Search Influencers? [Influencer Search Criteria Explained]

In the 200 million+ influencer database on SocialBook, you can find the influencers you want with numerous search criteria. Here are the full explanation of each search criteria and how to use them.

In the left navigation menu, go to "Influencer Marketing Ultimater" ->"Search" to open the SocialBook influencer search page.

Step 1: Choose the Social Media Platform

SocialBook currently support influencers search on these platforms: YouTube, Instagram, Twitch, TikTok.

Simply click each platform or use the dropdown menu to choose the one you want to search influencers on.

Step 2: Enter influencer's channel URL or keywords

In the search box, you can enter the following items:

  • Influencer's Channel URL: You can copy and paste the full URL of an influencer's social media channel (YouTube, Instagram, or Twitch) to the search box, then click the "Search" button.

For example, copy and paste the URL of PewDiePie's YouTube channel "https://www.youtube.com/user/PewDiePie" to the search box:

If you already know which influencer you want to check, this is the quickest way to go to his/her channel analytics data on SocialBook.

  • Influencer's Name: You can copy and paste the influencer's name to the search box and click "Search" to get the results.
  • Category: Enter the category of influencers you want to search, for example, "family," "gaming," or "beauty."
  • Brand's Competitor: If you do not know what kind of influencers are suitable for your brand, try to search your competitors to find influencers that they have worked with.
  • Any Keywords: You can try any keywords that are related to locating your ideal influencers.

Step 3: Influencer Search Criteria

SocialBook provides the following influencer search criteria:

  • Content: the category of content that influencer is posting. Some of the top options: gaming, fashion, beauty, entertainment, technology, travel, pets, and more.
  • Country or Region: the location of the influencer.  You can select multiple countries or regions.
  • Continent: the location of the influencer.  You can select multiple continents.
  • Language: the main language used by the influencer in his content.
  • Subscribers: you can define the influencer's subscribers.
  • Bio contains: you can enter keywords to filter whether these words are included in the influencer's bio.

Step 4: Audience Demographics Search Criteria

Apart from the influencer search criteria, we find it's more important for brands to discover influencers who can reach their target audience. Therefore, we have developed these audience demographics search criteria for brands to find the influencers quickly and accurately.

  • Age: you can select any age groups from the 7 options. For example, if you want to find influencers whose followers are millennials, you can select both "25 - 34" and "35 - 44" age groups.
  • Gender: if your product mainly targets the audience of one gender, this option is designed for you!
  • Country or Region: this option is to narrow down the search results only to influencers who can reach your target audience in specific locations. You can select multiple countries or regions.
  • 60-Day Eng Rate: if you only want to work with influencers who have a high engagement rate in the last 60 days, use this option to narrow down the results.
  • Price Range: influencer's estimated price per collaboration calculated by SocialBook. The final price may vary depending on the influencer and collaboration requirements.
  • Last Active Time: this shows the last time when the influencer is active. You can search influencers who are active "within 30 days," "within 60 days," "within 3 months, " "within 6 months," or "within 1 year." It's recommended to search influencers who are still active recently, which means their followers are constantly active.
  • 60-Day Average Views: if you want to find influencers who have more engagements recently, you can set this number higher.
  • Influencer Replied: You can see the date of the most recent reply from each influencer.
    Influencer Not Replied: You can see the date of the last time each influencer did not reply.
  • Show only:  defines some extra search options for brands to search accurately . You can narrow the search to influencers who have emails listed on SocialBook, have an Instagram account, have a Facebook account, have a Twitter account, have a Twitch account or have claimed their social media channels on SocialBook (Verified Account). Check any options you want to select.
  • Custom tags: You can assign different tags to influencers to make it easier to find them next time.
